I hope that if you expect your intern to work specific hours, complete<br>
specific pieces of work, or do any work at all that would otherwise be<br>
done by a paid employee, that you'll be paying (at least!) the minimum<br>
wage. To do otherwise is actually illegal[1], and in my opinion at<br>
least, hugely exploitatitive and unethical. Let's not have software<br>
development go the way of PR, politics and the media in expecting<br>
people to work for free (and therefore restricting employment<br>
opportunities to those with independent means to do so).<br>
