In Manchester there is a popular geek event called Geekup. It has a job board which keeps the mailing list free from most job postings and recruiter spam.<div>So a job board may work for this problem although it does take a bit to administer though.</div>

I did chat about the idea of having a Jobs board of some kind with<br>
Murray, with the proceeds going behind the bar at LRUG meetings. It'd<br>
be a bit of a nightmare to administer and police though, and is a bit<br>
against the spirit of openness we have around these parts.<br>
