It's not quite a Ruby related question, but wondering if any of you have<br>
recommendation for accountants.<br>

I currently have a day job, but had some extra income through book sales(Do<br>
you remember the dRuby talk back in March? <a href="http://lrug.org/meetings/2012/03/" target="_blank">http://lrug.org/meetings/2012/03/</a>).<br>
<br>
As Jan 31st is approaching, I am wondering if I should do online assessment<br>
and pay normal income tax, or should setup a business entity and pay<br>
corporate tax instead (probably that depends on how much extra income I<br>
gained and also whether I will be keep getting income for multiple years,<br>
but wondering how much is the border line).<br>

I asked the same question to few of my friends, but they all say "I don't<br>
recommend my accountants", so wanted to consult LRUG.<br>

Hey all,<br>

Our next meeting will be on Monday 11th Feb, and it'll be our usual<br>
lightning talk evening. We use the 20x20 format (20 slides that auto<br>
transition after 20 seconds each, giving you 6 minutes 40 seconds for the<br>
talk) for this evening which means we have space for 8 or 9 talks. I've<br>
had some people ask for a slot already and I've emailed them to confirm if<br>
they still want one, but that still leaves at least 5 slots.<br>
<br>
If you think you'd like to take part get in touch and I'll sort out a slot<br>
for you. Don't worry about the format; yes it's challenging, but if you<br>
rehearse a couple of times it's a breeze. It's way easier to fill less<br>
than 7 minutes than it is to fill one of our standard ~30 minute talks, so<br>
it's a good time to get your LRUG-speaker-feet wet.<br>

I'll get it up on lanyrd and <a href="http://lrug.org" target="_blank">lrug.org</a> shortly once I've got a few speakers<br>
confirmed.<br>
