           If you did have 40 minutes, what would you do with it to
          kickstart a peer coding session?  I imagine you could
          introduce the idea (maybe with a short demo using some willing
          or scripted participants) and then point folk at a signup for
          a less time constrained event.  Is that the sort of thing you
          meant?<br>
          <br>
        </div>
        <div>In a nutshell yes, that's what I meant.<br>
          <br>
        </div>
        <div>To give a bit more context, I will take my case as an
          example, but I'm sure I'm not the only one in that situation.<br>
          <br>
        </div>
        <div>I don't have colleagues at $dayjob or friend that to is
          proficient in ruby to just discuss how to do x and y.<br>
        </div>
        <div>I'm now at a stage where I know enough to get some stuff
          done.<br>
          I look at the some code and try to learn from it,<br>
          That said, it probably look and feel like hobbyist work.<br>
           but i find difficult to achieve "beautiful code" yet.<br>
          <br>
        </div>
        <div>So the proposal would be to try to make junior people like
          me meet more advance programmers, to talk, write code, write
          test, review code, etc.<br>
        </div>
        <div>I think it can be beneficial for both mentor and mentee.<br>
          The mentee gets to be better at all things ruby.<br>
          The mentor will develop leadership, communication and managing
          skills.<br>
          <br>
        </div>
        <div>I also don't think that LRUG meeting format allows pair
          programming.<br>
        </div>
        <div>I would be keen on organising another event to do with pair
          programming, if there is any interest.<br>
        </div>
        <div><br>
        </div>
        <div>I hope this explain better what I meant than the ambiguous
          2 liner with I started with.<br>
