<br><b>So what will I be doing?</b><br><br>You're going to be ramping up your technical skills by developing software. That includes marketing websites, product prototypes and if your skills are up to it, client work. You'll receive mentoring from me via email, code reviews, IM and video chat when appropriate.<br>
<br>You'll have Friday afternoon dedicated to training rather than projects. This can be on any work-related topic that you like, for a very broad definition of work-related: writing blog posts, learning Haskell, contributing to open source and building a robot would all be OK. Diving into angularjs or doing some git tutorials is fine too.<br>
<br><b>What exactly are you looking for in an intern?</b><br><br>A non-ninja[0], non-rockstar, 1X developer with basic technical skills who is interested in levelling up their programming ability while working on real-life software projects.<br>
<br>The following are the bare minimum requirements:<br><br>* <b>Beginner programming skill in Ruby and at least some personal project experience with Rails</b>. Your application will benefit immensely from having projects you've built (with the code) available at a URL where I can see them.<br>
* <b>Above average written communication skills</b>. The internship will be remote, so this is non-negotiable. Good use of spelling, grammar, punctuation and other writing skills will be highly valued.<br><br><b>How does the application process work?</b><br>
