<b>Key Responsibilities:</b>

* A good working knowledge of Rails framework and its best practices 
* Is able to successfully use Ruby outside of Rails 
* Familiar with most popular Ruby Gems & Bundler 
* Experience in Test Driven Development using the most popular libraries 
* Solid Knowledge of databases, SQL and query optimization 
* Can deploy a Rails app with Capistano and empty Linux server of choice 
* Understanding of API's and ability to design their own 
* Confident in using Git and "pull request" - based approach 
* Basic front end-knowledge including CSS3 (SASS), Coffee script and Backbone.js

<b>Experience Skills and Qualifications:</b>

Requirements

You will possess strong interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. You will also display a desire and passion for extending your knowledge and familiarity with the technologies they use which include but are not limited to:

* Proven experience of working in teams in the successful delivery of complex, highly performing and high quality products. 
* Experience of Agile practices 
* Experience of working with business stakeholders, product owners and business analysts to analyse requirements, develop ideas and design solutions Working

knowledge of the following: 
* Cloud based services, e.g. (AWS, Parse) 
* Exposure to other languages and platforms (e.g. Android, Ruby, C++) 
* Project Management methodologies, Agile, Lean etc.

Desirable 
* Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability. 
* Inversion of control/ dependency injection 
* Distributed message system design/development
