This means that my thoughts have been sanity checked by at least one other person.</li></ul><div style="max-width:590px">Here are some reasons I might not be a great person to write this book:<br></div><ul style="max-width:590px"><li style="max-width:590px">I have no direct economic incentive to make you better at hiring. The worse you are at hiring, the more you need my company's services and the easier it is for me to hire.</li><li style="max-width:590px">Though I have attempted to be as neutral as I can muster, a lot of what I advise (e.g. controlling for implicit bias in your hiring process, or creating a safe place to work for all of your employees) is beyond the pale for people with right-leaning political inclinations.
