<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">You might’ve already heard of Mastodon; it’s a distributed, federated social network (written in Ruby on Rails!) which a lot of people who have grown weary of Twitter are switching too.<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I think one of the most interesting aspects of Mastodon is that you can have “themed” instances, communities of people with something in common, which helps them discover other people with similar interests while still participating in the federated set of all Mastodon instances (the “fediverse”).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">With that in mind, I’ve set up an instance specifically for us Rubyists, which you’re all welcome to use if you’d like.
