So Benj,

Shall we put you down for the next meeting?
Rob, would you be able to tell Wendy about it, I'm off to Sardinia :-)
Benj - could you give us a little bio and picture for the sign on page?

So far people have asked for
* Ruby vs other languages
* OO and Functional programming idioms/styles
* 5 minute spots to explain easy stuff
* hacking the LRUG website
Are there any other ideas out there? Anyone want to take one of these
and run with it?
I\d be interested to hear more about what you're doing/your ideas
Eleanor - as much as your allowed to tell us at any rate.

Finally, yes, I think LRUG is supposed to be more Ruby oriented, but it
is inevitable these days that Rails will be a huge influence on anything
that happens. I think everyone would be happy for Rails sessions anyone
wants to present.
Also, tutorial wise, check out Why's online Ruby IRB tutorial thing -
follow along that tut and you'll learn some stuff

And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
