Hi,

Taking the brainstorming cue, how about the following idea:

Have a "A Technique in 5 Minutes" bit to the meeting. Someone has
exactly 5 minutes (shorter would be ok, but definitely no overruns) to
show and explain a Ruby technique. The technique could of course be
pitched at any level, simple, advanced, whatever. Because the time
cost would be fixed and short, hopefully it wouldnt matter too much if
some people already knew the technique.
