So, Alex MacCaw knows a thing or two about Flex+Rails and I'm going to
schmooze him into showing it off for us at some future meeting, (that's a
pre-warning for you Alex ;)
Is there anything else people want to hear about? Or even ideas for
alternative style evenings that people might want to attend (lightning
talks, no-agenda reject conf style, hack-days, etc...).
I know a bunch of LRUGers were at Railsconf, and a few even presented, might
one or two of you want to re-run your talks for us? Or the guys who have
been representing LRUG at extra-curricular meetings recently, maybe you'd
like to re-run your talks for us.
The main point of this mail tho is that I'm struggling to cajole folk into
doing something for the October meeting. As I said, there's Ian lined up
with resources_controller, but that still leaves a hole in the evening. As
Tom Armitage said in his talk last month, it's not hard to play with
something over a weekend or two and present your findings as a 'hey, this
was neat, what do you think?' style talk.
