My frustration that 'average' or 'bad' web shops are usually entirely  
silent on these sorts of forums. We only tend to hear about their  
practice from disgruntled former contractors or disgruntled former  
customers. It's often hard to know if we're doing the right things as  
there's often too much consensus between those who are willing to  
discuss the issues at all. Not always though, thankfully :) [1]

I was saying last night at Winchester Web Scene[2] that we should have  
some sort of "Ramsay's web shop nightmares" :)
