For my part, almost all our clients find us based on the fact that  
we're do Ruby or Rails. We tend to do tech-heavy websites or business  
applications, so our customers are normally IT director types or  
people who are well versed with web technology.

When asked, we sing the praises of the framework, but we do also talk  
about some of Rails' pitfalls (and how we overcome them), as it makes  
the conversation more rounded and shows we've done our homework.
