[LRUG] RailsCamp - anyone going past Slough?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of going to RailsCamp just for the Saturday - but National Rail
tells me it'll take me 4 hours to get there! :P

Even allowing for taking off half of the hour it'll supposedly take me to
cross London from Paddington to Victoria - that's still 3.5hours... which is
just silly to do twice in a day.

I was wondering if anybody would be driving past the rough vicinity of
Slough on their way[+back] and willing to take a hitchhiker?

Alternatively - I can meet somebody in central London somewhere (Paddington
being easiest for me)?
