Also two (brief) outages last week, and there have been others.

We ($WORK) are with Sagepay.  We've not had a level of support that I 
would recommend (oddly, their phone support is actually better than 
email support, IME), although I don't know for sure that anyone else 
would be better.

Have a poke around their support forum, it will probably give you a 
flavour (I'm on there as dan_b).
