What we're looking for

We use primarily Ruby, Rails and MySQL, so we need developers who have good
skills in these. Knowledge of web technologies generally and linux
deployment platforms are also important. We have a lot of exciting projects
coming up, so we're looking for people who can take on the responsibility
of driving the company forward with a commitment to new ideas and
imaginative solutions.
Who we are

We specialise in the development of online applications and services for
major sports organisations and events. The business was founded over 10
years ago and our clients include the International Skating Union,
International Gymnastics Federation, and the International Cricket Council.

Our key developments are in data-driven mobile and web applications,
powering things like:

   - accreditation & registration services
   - directory services
   - calendaring
   - online video
   - websites and intranets

This Olympic summer promises to be particularly exciting for us and we have
several major new projects in the pipeline, including a new multi-platform
sports management and communication system.

We have always enjoyed a good flow of challenging projects — for example,
we've recently launched a major new development in player accreditation for
the International Cricket Council's tournaments, which required a
fine-grained authorization solution, and user-configurable eligibility
filtering mechanisms.
What we offer

We offer a very attractive salary, depending on your skills and background.
You'll be working on projects for major international clients, with a real
say in how they develop. Our offices are in Bayswater, West London, with
lots of great local amenities.

If you're interested in working with us, please contact
jobs at sportcentric.org

We do not wish to be contacted by recruitment agencies please.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
