[LRUG] smtp as a service

I did a price comparison of some of the providers mentioned in this thread:

http://blog.willj.net/2011/11/30/email-provider-price-comparison/

The comments in particular there might help. One thing the Postmark
guys claim is access to the full range of features at all prices
ranges, rather than other providers that make you "buy in" to higher
tiers to get them. However about the 480k emails/month mark Sendgrid
Platinum starts to look like a better deal (see
http://willj.net/static/cloud_email_provider_price_comparison.html#comparison)

We don't actually use any of these services, we run our own mail
relays so I can't recommend any. It take a little time and lot of
know-how but we do have very good deliverability rates.

HTH,
Will.
