Following my first visit to LRUG last week, this seems like a great place

We’re a tech start-up in based in Milton Keynes.

We’re working on several exciting key products and expect the successful
candidate to bring their ideas as well as their skills. You will understand
the key challenges in building a large, complex web applications.

*You should have solid commercial experience of…*
• Ruby on Rails.
• MySQL/PostgreSQL or equivalent RDBMS.
• Javascript and jQuery, any framework (Angular/Ember) experience is a
plus.
• Ability to write clean, semantic, well-formed code.
• Cross platform browser experience.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix server commands.

*It would be nice if you had, or experience of...*
• A GitHub repo.
• TDD/BDD.
• NoSQL databases.
• CoffeeScript/HAML.
• Data caching strategies.
• Agile work environment experience.
• Attribute-based searching with something like Sphinx, Solr or
Elasticsearch.
• Adaptive cloud based architectures.
• Multi-threaded Applications.
• An automotive/mechanical passion or industry experience.

We work fast - We build, iterate and deliver constantly so you will be
deploying code weekly, daily and sometimes even hourly.

We take care of our perm. team extremely well and offer a package including
computer, car, great basic and bonus. We're also looking for flexible
contractors/freelances.
