Afternoon all

We're trying to raise some cash for a new project and I've just discovered
I know so little about such things, I might as well walk outside and try
and get mugged.

I've been through all the online resources. Hung out at various convenient
tech venues and we've met two potential investors this week, both are

I don't really know what I'm letting myself in for, neither do I have a
clue whether these people I've met are the right fit and can help us
achieve what we're want to. (I realise you can't help with the latter.) I
need to be picky but if I spend too long mulling over it, the opportunity
will be lost.

Considering how fashionable it seems call yourself a 'startup', I wondered
whether we'd be best start a new venture... But I'm proud we've been around
9 years, even though we're still tiny.

Can any of you share your experiences? Good and bad. London might be great
place to run a tech business but it's certainly not an easy place to find
decent tech investors. Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

If you want to discuss off chat, I'll happily buy you at least one beer.
