It's very unfortunate, but getting visas keeps getting harder and more
expensive and time-consuming. For a small company, the cost, time, and
uncertainty is probably prohibitive. It's mostly the fault of venal
demagogue politicians who like to vilify the Other in pursuit of a few
votes.
