One of our VC funded venture partners is looking for a fast learning, 'get things done' Engineer who is product minded, collaborative and can work across web & mobile products.  This is an exciting time to get in, as the company is growing its international footprint, has offices both in London & NYC and comprises of a growing team of energetic, fully engaged & talented folks.  They have developed the world’s leading international digital hospitality service, connecting guests with frictionless, rewarding experiences at outstanding restaurant and nightlife destinations. 

You will spend most of your time at the product layer, adding features on the back-end and building internal tools to improve their service and operations. They need you to have a strong understanding of architecture and the inner workings of distributed systems.  They automate as much as they can and keep technical debt down so that they can move quickly without sacrificing quality.

Is this you?
At least 3 years of Ruby experience
Experience with Sinatra and Grape
Able to operate independently and move quickly
Appreciate honest, constructive feedback
Values a transparent and collaborative development process
Unafraid to learn new things to solve a problem
Communicates effectively regardless of audience and even under pressure
Experience working with startups, financial, payment, or dining companies a plus.
