[LRUG] Bath Ruby tickets giveaway

Hi all,

LRUG has been given 4 tickets to the Bath Ruby conference (
http://2015.bathruby.org/) to give away thanks to Thayer at Team Prime and
Simon Starr from Bath Ruby.  Team Prime are also adding a £70 allowance to
each ticket to help with the cost of attending (it will cover return train
tickets London to Bath, or if you prefer: food, accommodation, whatever).

Rather than giving these tickets away to just anybody we’d like to pass
them on to folk who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.  There are many
reasons that someone might be unable to attend and we don’t want to pry
into personal situations; but if you feel this applies to you then do put
your name in to claim a ticket - we won’t demand that you justify why you
think this applies to you.

To claim a ticket just email me directly.  You can reply to this email, but
do make sure you don’t reply-all to the list!  If there are more names than
tickets I’ll do a draw, otherwise the four that ask will get the tickets.
I appreciate that claiming a ticket in this manner could be sensitive so
I’ll be keeping all names private and if a draw is needed that will be
private too.  I will have to pass your name to Bath Ruby (your name goes on
the ticket) and Team Prime (to sort out the £70 allowance) but it’ll all be
hidden from the rest of the group.

Deadline for names is Sunday 8th February so that we can thank Thayer and
Simon for arranging this at the start of the Feb meeting on Monday 9th.

If you already have a ticket do have a think about folk you know who aren’t
able to attend and spread the word.
