Hi all!
I am thinking about preparing a talk for some future LRUG meeting, I was
wondering whether you could help me with picking the subject? So far I have
three proposals:
1. Ruby constants - might seem very basic, but there are some common
misunderstanding regarding relations between constants, classes and
modules. It would also cover constant lookup process and rails auto-loading
feature (which is very often a cause of from-time-to-time bugs).
2. ActiveRecord for speed - common and less common ways of dealing with N+1
problem. Topic quite basic, however from my experience it is quite a common
problem.
3. Polymorphic association - basic concept and common problems with an
introduction to gem I'm working on to make polymorphic associations easier
to work with.
Please let me know what you think.
Chers
Stan
