[LRUG] MacBook for Ruby dev work

I run Fedora + Gnome/Ubuntu + i3 on a refurbished HP Pavilion AMD A10
with 8GB RAM. Performance is more than acceptable. SSD makes all the
difference. I much prefer this over my work machine (15" MBP) but do
lament poorer battery life and the lack of a Retina screen...
