Hi all,

Our December meeting will be on Monday 12th December (yes it’s a Monday
again, last month was a one-off scheduling change). The meeting starts at
6:30pm and runs till about 8pm. You can get in from 6pm to mingle in the
bar area, or make sure you get a great seat in the room.

We have 3 talks lined up:

* “Software architecture analysis with runtime type detection in ruby” by
Mark Burns
* “Ruby as a Learning Language” by Claire Tran
* “An A/B test is for life, not just for Christmas” by Simon Coffey

After 8pm if you’d like to continue chatting about ruby with other LRUG
attendees you can stay at Skills Matter in their downstairs bar area, or go
to the Singer Tavern where food is also available.

You can find out more about the meeting, the talks, and your post-meeting
choices at http://lrug.org/,eetings/2016/december/

If this has you chomping at the bit to attend you should:

1. Check out http://readme.lrug.org - paying close attention to the code of
conduct as we expect you to behave appropriately both at the meeting, and
afterwards if you choose to hang around with other attendees.
2. Register with our hosts Skills Matter to secure your place at the
meeting: https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/8501-london-ruby-usergroup-meetup
(registration
is free, but if you haven’t they may turn you away at the door)

Hope to see you all there,

Cheers,

Murray
