[LRUG] [JOB] Available for contract work: Ruby, Rails, or DevOps/Infrastructure

Hello all,

I am a long-time Rails developer, and even longer time Ruby developer, with
around 10 years experience in both (my degree's final year project was done
in Ruby). Since then I have always been involved in developing and looking
after cloud infrastructure as well, and most recently have had 2 full-time
DevOps contracts, both supporting Rails teams.

Rails wise, I can deal with Javascript/CSS/HTML well enough, though am not
a hardcore frontender). My real strength lies with architecting
large-scale, complex, backend apps, thinking about the future design of the
codebase, as well as being "agile" and delivering vertical slices of
properly functioning features.

On top of that, due to my long-term love of Linux (I run it on my laptop,
used to enjoy compiling my own kernels, etc.) I have always been into
looking after and setting up infrastructure, and have recently decided to
also pursue pure DevOps work. I specialise in writing Ansible scripts, and
working on the AWS platform, although I can easily adapt to other
platforms. I have also written a few Terraform modules, which basically
makes me an expert at it :)

I'm looking for Ruby (non-Rails), Rails, or DevOps contract work, and am
