Hi all,
Our final meeting of 2017 is next week on Monday the 11th December.
You can read more about it here: http://lrug.org/meetings/2017/december/
If you can’t wait though, the short version is:
Doors at 6pm and the meeting starts at 6:30pm. We aim to be done by 8pm.
The venue is Code Node, provided by our hosts Skills Matter. There are
three talks:
* “Everyday cryptography - talking about crypto without complex maths” by
Xavier Riley
* “Fun with an Amazon Echo, Ruby and Recipes” by Miles Woodroffe
* “How I met "Double Dutch" and he helped to remedy fear of injection” by
Marek Labos
Note that this may not be the running order on the night, so please don’t
rely on it when making travel plans.
After 8pm you can mingle with other meetup attendees at Code Node, or take
a short walk to the nearby Singer Tavern for some food and drinks.
To secure a place you should:
1. Read our code of conduct which applies to both the talks and the
socialising afterwards: http://readme.lrug.org/#code-of-conduct
2. Register with our hosts:
https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/10421-lrug-december - they may let you in
on the night if you haven’t registered, but we can’t guarantee they will if
it’s busy and you may not get a seat because registrations control the room
size and room layout we get.
Hope to see you all there,
Cheers,
Murray (& the rest of the LRUG organisation team)
