Hey Everyone,

I wanted to reach out as GoCardless is growing massively and we are looking
for strong Backend Engineers (Junior-Lead/Principal).

GoCardless <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQW0kFUR70E> is a 6-year-old
Fintech startup in Angel and we are one of the fastest growing Financial
Technology businesses in the UK processing £4B (£4 Billion) in payments
through our platform and over 120% year-on-year revenue growth. We’re
bringing Direct Debit into the digital age, building the best system for
taking recurring payments. GoCardless is creating a new international
payments network to rival credit and debit cards. Our mission is to break
down barriers so businesses can quickly and easily take payments from
anyone, anywhere in the world.

As a business we are currently at around 130 people with around 45 in
Product Development (Engineering, Design, Product, Platform). We've
recently completed Series D of funding which now takes us to a total raised
of $50M+. We've hired a new CPTO Carlos

investing heavily in growing our team moving forward.

We are currently using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL (some Redis), Golang (to
build our infrastructure platform), Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud
Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Javascript (React.JS) (just to name a few).

Few companies (and even fewer startups) face such engineering and
operational complexities. We are also working on some extremely interesting
Machine Learning predictive models in online Fraud Detection. The
ecosystems that we are building require smart engineering and the use of
cutting-edge technologies; we solve tough problems, at high levels of
complexity.
