*About GoodGymGoodGym is a community of runners that get fit by doing good.
Instead of going to a gym to lift weights that don’t need to be lifted or
running nowhere on a treadmill, our members run to help local community
projects and isolated elderly people in their community. We are operating in
over 40 areas across the UK and over 10,000 people have helped us reach
over 85,000 good deeds. GoodGym is recognised by the mainstream press,
leading thinktanks and the government as an important innovation. Winning
multiple awards and partnerships with the London Marathon, the Mayor of
London and the Cabinet Office, GoodGym aims to be one the largest fitness
communities in the UK and make a contribution at national scale to the
problem of isolation and loneliness which affects a million people in the
UK. Although we operate as a charity, GoodGym is a tech startup at heart.
Core to our success is our digital platform, through which we operate our
runs, acquire and train new members, and manage our befriending operation.
