[LRUG] Full Stack Developer looking for Junior Role in London

Hi all,


I have recently graduated from Le Wagon, a top full stack coding course, and was wondering if anyone is currently looking for a junior full stack or back end developer?


The course covered both front and back end web development: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, PostgreSQL, git, GitHub and Heroku. I'd say my focus has been more on Ruby and Ruby on Rails, however I am a quick, motivated learner and happy to adapt to new languages and frameworks.


Our time on the 9 week course included a mixture of lectures, individual/paired challenges and project work. Towards the end our team of 4 built a dog sharing website (le-woof.herokuapp.com) in 1 week and a crowdsourcing website for donating to items for the homeless (homeful.co.uk) in 2 weeks.


Until recently I was a Retail Management Consultant at Accenture. As well as general management consulting projects, I worked extensively with Software and Web development teams in roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner and Release Manager.


After this experience and my time at Le Wagon I realised that I wanted to move into development, so I am now trying to find my first professional role as a web developer in London. I'm keen to learn from experienced colleagues, ideally at a startup/ young company.
