Hi all,

December is nearly upon us, and that means it’s time to think about the
December LRUG meeting!

It’ll be on Monday 11th December; doors at 6, meeting starts at 6:30, and
we should be done with the “formal” part by 8pm. Usually this means
finding a local pub to continue the discussion, but there’s no requirement
that attendance at the former means you have to attend the latter (or, TBH,
vice-versa).

The lovely folk at Zappi are hosting us _again_ in their offices on Camden
High St. Thanks Zappi for giving us a 2-month residency!

This month we’re doing something a bit different. Instead of talks,
Christian Bruckymayer is going to lead us through a practical workshop on
building a test selection framework.

This is a practical workshop, so you’ll need access to a device you can
write and run ruby on.

You can read more about the workshop, and the meeting itself at
https://lrug.org/meetings/2023/december/

To attend, the important steps are:

1. Read the code-of-conduct (https://readme.lrug.org/#code-of-conduct) and
internalise it
2. Register to attend via Eventbrite

(spaces
are limited!)
3. Bring a laptop so you can do the workshop (or bring a friend who has
also registered and is bringing their laptop)

Closer to the event we’ll let you know what you need on your laptop to
successfully run through the workshop - but a working ruby dev environment
is probably enough.

See you all on Monday 11th!

Cheers,

Murray & the rest of the organising team
