Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a lovely summer.

I work at TEP, an education startup measuring engagement in schools and providing this information to school leaders in a comprehensible and understandable way, with the aim of improving educational outcomes and supporting the development of sustainable working cultures. We're currently working with over 100 schools to measure engagement of teachers and staff, and we're about to expand this to also measure pupil engagement. This is where we hope you'll come in!

TEP is officially based in Leeds, so if you're on this mailing list you're probably in or around London and this would be a primarily remote role. I'm also based in London so you won't be the only remote person! We might need you to attend our in-person team days (we run three a year) but we don't mandate office hours. If by some amazing coincidence you are in Leeds, we have a co-working space up there.

By 'full stack' developer, we mean someone who's at least comfortable with both SQL/ActiveRecord level code and HTML/CSS, and is confident with doing work all the way from establishing requirements and prototyping, through to testing, QA and signoff. You don't need to be good at devops or systems (we use Heroku for most of that) or an expert with Javascript frameworks (we only use a little Alpine and some hand-rolled code here and there).
