Hi folks,

Firstly, apologies for not contributing to this group for precisely 12
years. I think that my last post was this one, on 8 May 2013:

That post connected me to Tom Cartwright, who turned out to be fabulous.

So I'm back, with a very similar ask, although not specific to Rubyists.

I am looking for a lead developer to work on an amazing edtech product
which I have put together.

It is Robyn - the robot teaching assistant. Robyn takes the form of several
connected Android devices. One device sits by the whiteboard, watching the
board and listening to the teacher. Other devices are available on pupil's
desks. The pupils can ask questions if they don't understand something, or
ask for more challenging tasks if they have completed their work. It uses
various OpenAI and Anthropic LLMs under the hood to process everything.

Product has been in one classroom on a trial basis for a couple of months,
and I have demonstrated it at three other schools, all of whom want to
participate in a wider trial. More demos in the pipeline. The reaction from
children and teachers is magical. "It's like having more teachers in the
room," said one child.

I have raised £250k funding to get started with rolling it out more widely.
This money is committed, but I am waiting for HMRC SEIS advance assurance
before completing. This should come in the next 4-6 weeks.

I have taken the product far further than I expected to be able to. I have
enough technical understanding to vibe-code quite well, but I am not a
developer. I need an actual developer to take over the development and make
sure that the product will be scalable and is secure and safe.

Key details: Full time, remote, £75k + options. I'm in Hampshire. First few
schools will be in the Hampshire area, so ideally you will be in London or
the south east, so we can visit schools together from time to time.
