Thank you all for a great evening yesterday -- I had fun giving a  
rather frantic live demo of the invoicing gem, the other two speakers  
had interesting things to show, and there were lots of good  
conversations afterwards in the pub.

I've been asked to put my talk online; I didn't have slides, but I  
wrote myself notes of the things I wanted to demo, and I have put them

Jon and Paul, could you also put your slides up somewhere? I liked  
your talks and it would be good to be able to refer back to them.

As to the invoicing gem, if you think something like this might be  
useful in any of your projects, please do drop me a line -- I want to  
make this into something which is really useful to a lot of people,  
and knowing how it fits into your projects will help steer further  
development in the right direction. I'm just doing this in my spare  
time but it's good for the motivation if I know that people are  
interested in what I'm doing.

Also, if you want to do me a favour in return for the weeks I've spent  
developing the invoicing gem already, please help spread the word --  
blog it, tweet it (#invgem hashtag), tell your friends about it... :-)
