Hi,

Sorry to suddenly post so many messages, but just following the
conversation and only just know reading all different entries.

/One of the things that I feel is a bit missing in the conference space
is cross-polination of ideas from different languages. "/

We are organising a cross-language *WebTech eXchange* in the same week
as the RoR eXchange on *May 14+15*. Java, .NET, Groovy, Ruby, flex,
javafx... and all the relevant frameworks are presented, as well as
enterprise web architectures and a whole track on Cloud & Grid. Speakers
from Amazon, Tesco, BBC iPlayer and lots more! About 50 expert speakers.

The programme will be complete by the end of next week, but you can
have a sneak preview of confirmed sessions here:

This is a 2-day, 3 track conference aimed at senior enterprise web
developers and architects from various technology backgrounds.

Tickets for £395 only, if you book on or before Feb 28th, after that
£495. *LRUGers who would like to come, can get a further £50 of the
ticket price, simply email sales at skillsmatter.com to get your Discount
Promo code, *_before_ registering online.

We still have one slot open for the Developer track, 1 slot for the
Architect track and 2 slots for the Cloud & Grid track, so if you would
like to propose a talk, please do so by emailing me
(wendy at skillsmatter.com, please include in the subject line: Proposal
WebTech eXchange)
