Hi All
A few months ago I open sourced the rails app behind https://libraries.io on
github: https://github.com/librariesio/libraries.io, so far it's collected
detailed information on around 1.5 million open source libraries and 8
million GitHub repos and the dependency graphs that link them all.
This Saturday I'm running an informal hack day in Old Street focused on
building tools to help open source contributors, maintainers and users on
top of the Libraries.io data and improving the API so even more people can
use it's open source data.
More details here: https://attending.io/events/open-source-data-hackday,
here: https://github.com/librariesio/os-data-hackday and there's a slack
channel too: https://osdatahack-slackin.herokuapp.com/
Do come along and join in if you are free and fancy contributing to the
project and helping open source communities everywhere.
Cheers
Andrew
