Hi everyone,
The next meeting of LRUG will be on Monday 12th of June. Doors will open at 6pm, the talks will start at 6:30pm, the talks will end by 8pm, and then you are free to go home or stick around to chat with other attendees as you wish.
We’ve got three fantastic speakers this month:
* Nadia Odunayo, “This Code Sucks — A Story About Nonviolent Programming”
* Alex McLintock, “Choosing Ruby for a New Startup”
* Hrishi Mittal, “3 ways of using React with Rails - pros and cons”
On this occasion there’ll also be free pizza and drinks thanks to the generosity of BookingBug (https://www.bookingbug.co.uk/) who are a) sponsoring this month’s event and b) hiring and keen to speak with Ruby on Rails developers looking for their next challenge. All the more reason to turn up from 6pm to enjoy some pre-talk socialising and refreshments.
For more information on those talks, that sponsor, and the meeting itself, see http://lrug.org/meetings/2017/june/.
If you’d like to join us, then please do the following:
1. Read the LRUG code of conduct so you know what’s expected of you: http://readme.lrug.org/#code-of-conduct
2. Register with our hosts Skills Matter so they can make sure you’ll have a seat: https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/9626-london-ruby-june-meetup
See you there!
Cheers,
-Tom
