Are you a Rails expert with a confirmed experience of adding a SPA javascript framework to your Rails API? Then you will love Ember.js and its Rails-inspired conventions!

We are looking for front end javascript developers to work for one of our core agile teams on britishgas.co.uk. We serve more than 11 million homes and businesses for their energy needs using a wide range of products, and have very interesting challenges to work on: from using Ember engines to lazy load our apps on demand, to implementing SSE or websockets on our website (Rails Action Cable experience welcome), to adding AI to better serve our customers and improving our service-oriented architecture, you will find plenty to learn and do here!

The stack we are using is Ember in the Frontend with JAVA-based microservices, github, AWS cloudfront, CI with Travis and Slack bots.

This is a contract position, based in Staines, United Kingdom, rate neg. £300 - £500. No agencies, no remote, no sponsorship.
