Good Afternoon LRUG, 

 

I’m currently working with a leading FinTech company based in London who are now seeking a Technical Architect who will be responsible for the following:

 
Working alongside the engineering teams to guide them on technology and best practices.
Translating the technical concepts between software engineering, delivery management and service management.
Making and guiding effective decisions for the business.
Working with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs. 
 

They are seeking someone who has the following experience: 

 
Managing a team of engineers (Junior to Senior) ideally experience with managing a team based in another country.
Several years of hands on Ruby on Rails development experience is essential. 
Guiding engineering teams on technology choices.
Experience using TDD and an understanding of Domain Driven Design.
Deep understanding of object-orientated programming.
Design patterns used in APIs.
 

The role is a permanent onsite position only (although has the potential ability to work 1-2 days a week from home) and the salary range for the role is £90k-£100k (depending on experience)
