[LRUG] A few of my ex-colleagues are looking for new roles

Hi,

We are hiring at 38 Degrees. We're looking for mid/senior, and we would be
happier to find people at the senior end of that range rather than the
'mid' end. BUT, it's worth noting up front that our pay is never going to
match commercial organisations (and the discrepancy is larger at the senior
end of the scale). We're a not-for-profit entirely funded by small
donations, with an ethically-motivated salary cap which compresses our
options at the top-end (where directors and senior techies live!) - the
salary range we're currently offering is up to £60,000 p.a.

If money isn't your primary criteria when choosing a job, then it's a great
place to work - very supportive, keen on staff development, with some
interesting tech challenges and some even more interesting 'business'
challenges (trying to keep ahead of politics can cause some truly
ridiculous deadlines for rushing MVPs into production!)... and the best set
of colleagues (across the entire organisation, not just the tech team) that
I have ever worked with. Plus you get to go home each day feeling good
about the end-goal that your technical work is contributing to (assuming
that you're on the progressive end of the political spectrum anyway - if
you're not, then it's probably not the place for you) :)
