Hello everyone! We're hiring for two jobs, a senior backend and a senior frontend engineer:

Impactive is a company that provides communication tools for progressive organisations in the US. Last year we provided outreach via peer to peer SMS messaging for organisations such as Planned Parenthood, When We All Vote (https://whenweallvote.org/) and the Biden for President campaign (bigly successful!). This year we continue to support organisations such as Fair Fight (https://fairfight.com/) and SEIU (https://www.seiu.org/) among many others. This year and next we are expanding with our new broadcast SMS, and our "Dialler" phone banking tool.

Our stack is a pretty standard Rails backend/React frontend on Heroku so should be pretty familiar to many people here, though we use a bit of Go/AWS here and there. We aim to create a sustainable developer-friendly environment that works at a comfortable pace, and use eight week development cycles that include a two week "cooldown" period to allow for more focus time, less distraction, and a chance to work on engineering "self-care" projects that keep the application pleasant to work in.

The company is fully remote, and open to people outside the US (though as a long-term contract, see note on the pages linked above).
