[LRUG] Pre-announcing our Jan meeting

Hi all,

Our next meeting will be on Monday, January 13th, and we’ll be hosted by
GoCardless in their offices on Goswell Road (exact location and details
closer to time).

As I mentioned in my last email we’re planning to run a “ruby talent show”
(see:
http://lists.lrug.org/pipermail/chat-lrug.org/2019-November/025394.html )
to see what sorts of things people have been using ruby for that’s not just
standard web apps.  As ever, we need you to help us out with this by
volunteering to show something off.

We think for a meeting like this we don’t need to have slides and a
polished presentation.  It could be enough to just show us some code and
then show us the running results (of course if you want to write slides,
that’s fine too).  Get in touch with us on talks at lrug.org if you want to
show us something.

We think there were some problems with our shared inbox software that meant
we weren’t getting all the emails, so if you have emailed us recently and
we didn’t get back to you, please try again!

More details to follow, including registration details when we have a few
more confirmed talent show volunteers.
